GONE

These days get more interesting as the hours pass....

I got off of work, stopped past my moms to grab her extra cleaning products. I got it all; Murph's Oil, Mean Green, Comet.... name it! I grabbed her wet-vac plus the extra vac for the precleaning I need to before the wet-vac. I grabbed the remainder of my stuff before I left (late) for work. I know my drama will slowly deminish once I clean the house and get one step in the forward direction. This isnt going to be an easy process and I'll need help - I know I forgot a few items, maybe she's help me out....

After all the productive things I got done I needed to play and laugh with the crew. Dawg just had a birthday on the 4th so we caught up and celebrated propa - Mango style. Catching up on the past weeks, women, jobs and the possiblities for the summer were our conversations. It was great to chill with Dawg even though our lives differ in many, many ways. He's a friend and I'm thankful for his presence! We played a few games on Halo 2 which were great. Actually, I missed playing in a big way. I havent played for 2 months and ran through EVERYONE - sickestever.com style! I need to download the new maps though, my weekend present to myself. Be on the lookout guys, I'm on the case like Ma$e - "welcome back"

I got home and gave Adam a chirp. Fairly similiar conversations with Adam; women, work vacations and career discussions - good times and another persons opinion(s). I havent chatted with him in person for a week or so due to conflicting schedules. He had alot to update me on, same for me. He told me about his vacation with Patty, 7 days of joy. No fights, no fuss, all smiles all easy type of scene. I'm happy for him... He's glad my situations are working our propa, good. We're good guys and it seems good things happen to good people. Nice guys dont necessarily finish last (as the song goes).

Adam had great advice for my situation(s) being a law officer and a friend. I think it was partially constructive criticism with a dash of friendly advice, a sprinkle of props with a side of "all-nah-hell-nah". It was very good to converse with my friend... I took alot away from our 2 hour golf game chat, I'm sure he did the same. It's always good to have people you can talk to on _that_ level (for all of my vague-speak). I know that vacations come to an end, he knows that and so does she. What you take away from the "vacation" are fun times, memories and promises of what it could / should be like. Vacations end, pushing you back to the normal "grind" but hopefully with a refreshed attitude and clear(er) perspective to make the segue back to normality (or something like it) easier and more enjoyable. Afterall, it's the future we work towards...

Yesterday is history and tomorrow's a mystery.

I'm reaching for the sky, there's no limit...

I should continue my work tasks and make my phone calls so I can finish my notes from this past weekend.
