Higher Fidelity...

So, you want to know what gets at me the most? These entries below get me vexed rather quickly; top 10 sty-lee!

(in no particular order)

-usage of mobile phones when it’s not an emergency or irrelevant to your current situation (whatever that may be…).

Example: When you’re talking with family, friends, lovers or business associates enjoying said moment and _they_ feel the need to answer the ‘bird’ to say “hello! Can I call you later, I’m busy” - “Hey, I’m out, can I call you later” – “I cant hear you, can I call you back, ok bye” – “I cant talk right now, let me call you back”

Side note: This one pisses me off to no end. I _ONLY_ answer my calls if it’s an
emergency or in regards to a matter that needs addressed NOW (work). I find it rude and disrespectful to those around you when you prioritize an ‘electronic voice’ over the one(s) around you. I’m not saying I’m innocent or double standard with my peeves; this just isn’t cool. I’m going to stop a conversation, a hug or a kiss I currently have going on to tell someone I’ll call them back, nigga please!

-the negligent use of voicemail and/or answering machines.

Side note: I despise those who do NOT LEAVE MESSAGES or VOICEMAILS. Their idea of a message/voicemail is to call back, repeatedly! Send a damn txt message if necessary or LEAVE A BLOODY MESSAGE.

-Leaving the toilet seat UP!

Side note: I’m saying, I’m a guy and I piss standing up but fucks sake, shut the lit man! I’m saying, I keep my bathroom/toilet clean and I always put the lid down just to keep it looking good. One day you’ll thank me……or your lady will!

-“Kidz” that wear long sleeve collar shirts w/ cargo shorts and sandals/flipflops & those who endlessly pursue current fashion trends.

Example: Abercrombie and Bitch trends, MTV’s version of “HIP HOP” collar shirt upturned bullshit. The constant push to update one's Ralph Lauren seasonal clothing collection.

Side note: I’m sorry, I’m just not into that style! Abercrombie and Bitch beware! I have my own fashion and dont look or see the need to duplicate what others wear. I like dress nice and sharp but not with brand names advertising off my chest like the "S" (The "S" is for 'Sooperman Lover'... yeah)

-A messy home/bedroom/sleep quarters

Example: unnamed friends, random strangers and women I’ve dated - their homes.

Side note: I guess this is me knit-picking because I’m a bit of a clean/neat freak. I don’t feel indifferent for anyone that keeps _their_ place a mess. I guess it bothers me when it’s day-in-day-out mess and you’re trying to chill or enjoy yourself but have to step over _their_ dirty laundry, bottles, food and other random artifacts… come on!

-Forcefully subjected to advertisements (mostly at the cinemas)

Example: I hate going to the movies because I see 15 minutes of ads and 5 minutes of previews. What happened to ALL PREVIEWS -> Movie? I don’t mind it as much when I’m watching the tele since I can change the channel or distract myself; at a theatre? $14 dollars to get advertisements beamed into my head, all-nah-hell-nah!

-People who don’t look at or glance into the eyes of the person they're speaking to!

Side note: Again, I think I’m being picky here. I think it’s a sign that someone is being dishonest or untruthful. I’ll look you in the eyes even when I don’t have eyes, feel meh? I know some people have a problem looking someone in the eyes; sometimes they don’t even try!

-Racism and/or all acts, words that fall under ‘racist

Side note: yeah, this is probably the ‘item’ that gets me most-jaded-ever.com – I _HATE_ feeling discriminated on, racially profiled. What year do we live in for fucks sake? Being a person of color and mixed heritage I get this attitude/action/grammer all around the board! How to judge the mentality of someone it 1.5 seconds...

-The lack of hand-washing when leaving the bathroom or preparing food

Side note: do I need an example or banter? You know what I’m saying….. it’s nasty and gross!

-inability to accept/appreciate change

Side note: yeah, it's hard to deal with change but we cant forget that change constantly happens whether its a huge change or small change. Point is, it will and always happens....
