-> Saturday

Saturday got off to a slow start. I nursed Joy back to health after she consumed a few bowls of Kix w/Soy Milk. So, we found out she's allergic to Soy Milk. Odd, she ate edame (Fresh Soy) without problems... maybe there's something in the milk? Screw you Jeeves, this is a question for the web dr / WEBMD. It took a few hours for the medicine to kick in, plus she needed to sleep off the allergic spell from the soy milk.

...and so off we went to the UPMC Sports Works for moderate and fun exercise. Sadly, years of video games could not get me a win when playing "virtual" volleyball. And dont ask how well I can throw a baseball... "Look out". Ha. But golf, now there's something I can do! Wall Climbing, now this is an activity I can do and enjoy - plus I've never climbed a wall. I want to climb a real wall or visit a facility that has more than 1 schwaggy wall to climb. Safety first? Yeah, I need to wall/rock climb again, soon. Maybe a little trip to WV for Labor Day weekend?

...and 10,000 Villages rocked! Great products, knowledgeable and friendly staff, plus they have great coffee! I'll head back soon as the heady incense I bought is nearly gone. My house smells wonderful, not smokey or natty. I like my 'Champa but sometimes it doesnt have the fresh smell I enjoy. Silence.

...and Jerry's Records, heady. Records everywhere, largest cache in Western PA! Everything you could want or think of, Jerry's got it! And running into Jwan was funny, odd too. He didnt recognize me either! We were both digging through the "classic" house lp's....we both looked up, did a double take and simultaneously said "what's up, long time." Propers.

My picks:
Arrested Development: Tennessee
Roberta Flack: Best of
Tom Tom Club: Sunshine and Ecstacy

...and back at Chaya for more delicious rolls, sushi rolls (dont get any idea's). As I've said, this is my favorite sushi house in PGH. This time we both ordered new rolls and nigiri; I cant recall what I ate though, nothing I've had before (from Chaya). I know I avoided Salmon (sorry Malcolm) as I've consumed at least 3 fresh pieces of salmon last week. I'll try your recipe soon, maybe this weekend - I need my salmon fix!

This is the only picture I have of our sushi
Notice nothing is left to eat, not even the ginger (I've grown to enjoy it)! I should note that we placed 2 separate orders - we kept the waiter busy! Delicious.

Then the rains came...

...back home for a few hours.

I'm glad I didnt bet any chedda on mine and Joy's pool game as I surely would've lost. Pool Shark - In action...

...and this Pool Hall (however shady it seemed) didnt have their alcohol permit (new ownership). Sober Pool / Good Pool. Afterwards, we found ourselves headed towards Deja Vu for a few drinks and laughs. Drinks...yes, laughs...yes and conversations that I never thought we'd have in a club; true love, in theory, isnt so easy to break down. I'll save this for another banter session.

-> Sunday

str8 chillin.

Eggs, baked beans, potatoes, turkey-sausage, greens - yummy - heady breakfast. No pictures though, my brain wasnt on the technology scene yet.

...and surprisingly Golf was on, NEC Invitational! Tiger Woods baby! And we can argue, Fried Chicken or Fried Rice - which half of Tiger hits the ball so well ;-)

K-Mart is cooler than Walmart. Although, nothing can be as cool as Hills - haha.

Leftovers for dinner...yummy! I firmly believe food should taste better the second day. Yeah, it's always good when it's fresh out the oven but when you eat it the second or third day and you're still loving it, you know you have a quality meal!

Hide and Seek anyone? Not too shabby for a psychological thriller. We still have 4 alternate endings to watch, baby! And my thumb, damn, Joy squeeze my thumb for most of the movie. Was it really that scary? And yes, I'll turn the lights on ;-)

and somehow, in the blink of an eye the weekend ended. and there will be other weekends, more memories and more magical moments in the morning.

Many emotional moments transpiried between Joy and I - moments I wanted, moments she wanted. Eyes, it's always in the eyes. And saying L is never easy; special and meaningful, I know you meant it. And my reply, ...

Thanks for your view, it's the only view I want. Thanks for sharing, our exchange of words brought us closer - beautiful and heartfelt!

I want more....

Soon?
