i swear i'm in the wrong profession.

spam. and not the shit (yeah, it's shit) you eat my friends. digital spam.

emails, junk-mail, garbage, unwanted...whatever you call it... spam's its name.

and when you have problems, whom do you call....spambusters, bitch!

i've spent 5 hours working on the spam server; debugging html code, reviewing blacklists, compile and test a de-duplication program, test, add hosts, search html codes for href and img entries. fuck...

just makes me wonder what people do to get spam. i mean, it's like getting spam at your house / in your mailbox... when i get mail it's usually a bill (or 2). when i get non-financial mail it's usually because i signed up for said mailing (magazine, pamplet, community letters, etc). what do you do to get over 200 pornographic spam messages a day, please tell me...cause i'm tired of hearing complaints.

and to see some of the crap i review AND forward amazes me! people really sign up for foot fetish sites? with their work accounts...damn. maybe i should copy-paste some spam messages I have to toss or forward.ha

i also wonder how much money spam generates. it's a mix between mass advertising and e-marketing, from my view. how many "custy's" click on your emails and links by accident? how much does said company pay you to mass mail information about their products? seriously.

spam subjects i see the most:
"homeowner, we can help you"
"hoodia"
"makes her cum even more"
"weight loss"
"two girls want you"

i could go on.... it's a never-ending battle.
